TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Of International Children’s Drawing Contest
“70th Anniversary of the Great Victory”
Held in commemoration of the 7th anniversary of the Victory in the
Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.
1. GENERAL INFORMATION
Moscow International Contest of Children’s Drawing (referred hereunto as The Contest) is to be held by the State Budgetary Educational Institution "Sergei Andriaka’s Moscow School of Watercolour Painting with Museum and Exhibition Centre" as part of the festive program of the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory for young and talented individuals from Moscow, other regions of Russia, CIS and other countries from February 21st to April 19th 2015.
The Contest is to be held for young individuals from 9 to 17 years of age. Best works are to be selected by the Jury in two stages. Participation is free of charge. All works admitted to the Second Stage will be included in the Exhibition. All finalists will be awarded with the Diplomas, memorable prizes and a trip to Moscow for participation in the Awards Ceremony and the Gala.
2. CONTEST TASKS AND OBJECTIVES
1. To hold a “70 years of the Great Victory” Children’s Drawing Contest in Commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 Victory. .
2. Promotion of the history of our country glorious past among the youth.
3. Promotion of morality and awareness, patriotic feelings, remembrance and connection between generations.
4. Spark interest to the art.
5. Hold watercolor workshops to spark interest among general audience.
6. Strengthen the ties and strategic partnership between Russia and CIS countries.
3. PARTNERS AND ORGANIZERS
The Contest is organized by the State Budgetary Educational Institution "Sergei Andriaka’s Moscow School of Watercolour Painting with Museum and Exhibition Centre".
For the purposes of the Contest a Jury and Organizational Committee are to be instituted.
The Jury and Organizational Committee are to perform the following duties: selection of the Contest works, correspondence with the Participants and the Guests, collection of materials for publishing of the Contest catalog (both in print and digital), interaction with sponsors and volunteers, creation and execution of ad campaign, preparation of the final Exhibition, generation and assembly of various reports.
4. CONTEST DATES
Stage 1 – All Applications are to be submitted from February 21st to March 29th 2015 via www.risuempobedy.ru
Stage 2 – All Master copies of the Contest works are to be submitted by post from March 31st to April 14th 2015.
Stage 2.1 Lists of Final Exhibition Works is to be published on the www.risuempobedy.ru web-site on April 16th 2015.
Stage 3 – Publishing of the List of Finalist Works on April 17th 2015.
Stage 4 – Final Exhibition from May 4th to May 10th 2015.
5. CONTEST JURY AND ORGANIZTIONAL COMMITTEE HEADQUATERS

6. CONTEST ORGANIZATION AND EXECUTION
Individuals and educational institutions from Russia and other countries are invited to participate in the Contest.
The contest is open and free of charge. This is to ensure the possibility of fair judgement for contestants from any country.
No members of the Jury or Organizational Committee or their close relatives are admissible to the participation in the Contest.
To apply to The Contest please register on www.risuempobedy.ru website, fill in the application form and upload an image of the work (1,5Mb - 35 Mb, 800x600 – 4000-3000 px).
By registering as an Applicant, said Applicant is deemed to accept the present Terms and Conditions.
Works on the Great Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 and executed in watercolor, gouache, tempera, pencil, pastel, engraving, or other graphic techniques are admissible to the Contest.
By registering as an Applicant, said Applicant of his\her lawful Representative (-s) deem to express explicit consent for any publishing (digital or print), copying, public demonstration and display of submitted Works. Transfer of the exclusive right is deemed free of charge.
By submitting Work to the Contest any Applicant is deemed to be the Author of the said Work. Should any copyright issues arise, the Applicant undertakes obligations to settle these issues at his\her own expense.
Any Participant violating the present Terms and Conditions or Works violating socially accepted norms of moral or ethics will not be accepted to the Contest
Any images that do not correspond to the Contest subject-matters, with traces of severe computer manipulation, depicting scenes of violence, race, religious or nationality related segregation or nudity will not be accepted to the Contest.
Organizational Committee cannot be held liable for any damages any Contestant incurs due to participation in the Contest or reception of the Awards
Organizational Committee reserves the right to amend the present Terms and Conditions at any time by publishing them on the Contest website. Amended Terms and Conditions are deemed effective from the moment they were published and cover all relations between Organizational Committee and the Contestants.
Organizational Committee reserves the right to ban any Participant from the Contest.
By entering the Contest all Participants are deemed to have accepted the present Terms and Conditions (amended or otherwise).
1. The Works (no more than 3 from the sole Author) must correspond to the Contest and Nomination subject-matters.
2. A Description Note stating the Authors name, age, work title, country, state or province, city, telephone number, educational institution, name of the Instructor)if applicable), email, telephone number of the lawful representative (e.g. Parent) is to be enclosed to the Work.
3. Information on the Work subject-matter or creative plan is to be included in the said Note.
4. All Works selected for the Final Exhibition are to be sent by post (e.g. Pochta Rossii) at the expense of the Contestants. All works are to be packaged and must not contain any pass partout, glass or frames. All works are to be forwarded to 105064, 17 -1, Gorokhovsky pereulok, Moscow, Russia, office 305.
Works can be submitted in person at the said address on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM

5. Framing of the works for final Exhibition is to be done at the Organizer’s expense.
6. After the Contest all works are sent to the addresses in the Notes enclosed by cash-on-delivery in the course of two months.
7. 28 Finalists are deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions of processing of their personal data for the purposes of preparation of the travel documents for the trip to Moscow.
7.1. All Finalists are invited to Moscow at the expense of the Organizers with one lawful representative
7.2. By accepting this trip all Finalists deem to have accepted the Terms and Conditions of the Contest Cultural Program (including, but not limited to exhibitions, concerts, meetings with the veterans, workshops, etc.).
In case of the violation of the present Terms and Conditions no Works will be accepted.
Organizational Committee has no ability to engage in lengthy correspondence with the Participants by email or otherwise.
The Contest is held in 2 (two) Stages:
To enter The Contest all Applicants have to register on the Contest website www.risuempobedy.ru from February 21st to march 29th 2015 by filling in the application Form, filling in the Description Note and uploading images of Works.
List of works will be published on the web site on March 31 2915.
All Participants admitted to the Stage 2 will be informed by phone or e-mail designated in their Application form.
All Participants, accepted to the Stage 2 are to submit master copies of their works by post or in person to: 105064, 17 -1, Gorokhovsky pereulok, Moscow, Russia, office 305 at their own expense from March 31st to April 12th 2015.
Lists of Works admitted to the Final Exhibition will be published on the website on April 15th 2015.
28 Finalists (according to the Nominations) will be announced on April 17th 2015.
All Finalists will be informed by phone or e-mail designated in their Application form
Final Exhibition will be held from May 4th to May 10th 2015 at the designated Exhibition space in Moscow city.
The opening Gala Ceremony will take place on May 4th 2015 and Awards Ceremony will take place on May 8th 2015.
Selection of works and evaluation criteria:
-Development of the Subject.
- Creative concept, interesting or non-standard approach to the subject of the Great Victory.
- Quality of works (self-sufficiency and self-reliance)
The Contest Jury will select winners among two age categories 9-13 years of age and 14-17 years of age. All Finalists will be invited to take part in the Final Exhibition, will be awarded Diplomas, memorable prizes and will be invited to take a trip to Moscow for the period of the Victory Day festivities
7. COPYRIGHT AND OTHE RIGHTS
All Contestants express consent for print or digital publishing of their Works (e.g. Exhibition catalog). All Contestants (or their Lawful Representatives) are deemed liable for any related copyright issues, should they arise.
By submitting Works to the Contest all Contestants transfer proprietary and copy rights to the Contest Organizers and are deemed to have expressed consent for their works to be used in any purposes the Organizers see fit for the benefit of the Contest.
By submitting an Application for the Contest all Lawful Representatives (parents or custodians) are deemed to have accepted the following Terms and Conditions.
8. INFORMATIONAL POLICY AND SUPPORT
The Contest is deemed Open for all. Organizational Committee undertakes obligations to inform general audience and Interested Parties via mass media or informational letters of all developments related to the course of the Contest.
